Ministry of Tourism

The Ministry of Tourism was established by royal decree in February 2020, replacing the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage. It regulates and develops the tourism sector, sets its policies, supports investment, develops tourism services and coordinates with related entities.

In October 2020 the ministry launched its human capability strategy for tourism, "Ahlaha" (Its People), aiming to help the sector provide one million jobs by 2030.
