Makkah Region Development Authority Organizes the Regional and City Development Authorities Forum

With support from the Development Authorities Support Center, Makkah Region Development Authority organized the Regional and City Development Authorities Forum in Jeddah Governorate. Development authorities from Hail, Madinah, the Eastern Region, and Aseer participated, along with the Strategic Office for the Development of Al-Baha. The forum documented success stories from the authorities' comprehensive development initiatives, in line with their roles under the Regulations for Regional and City Development Authorities.

Eng. Omar bin Abdulrahman Al-Dabaan of the Development Authorities Support Center commended Makkah Region Development Authority for embracing the forum's concept from the outset and collaborating with the Center to provide valuable material for participants. This material serves as a reference to help newly established authorities and strategic offices overcome institutional development challenges and maximize the benefits and impact of existing experiences. He added that authorities are expected to play a significant role, supported by the generous backing of the wise leadership, may Allah honor it, and its oversight of development priorities, including regional development.
