First Aid Attendant

Gives first aid to worshippers who feel unwell, from heat exhaustion to minor injuries, and calls in ambulance teams when needed.
Main duties
- Assess and treat minor injuries, fainting and heat exhaustion.
- Check vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse and blood sugar.
- Perform CPR and use a defibrillator (AED) in an emergency.
- Call ambulance teams and hand over each case with a clear report.
- Keep first-aid bags and stations stocked and record every case.
Requirements
- Valid first aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) certificates.
- A health diploma (such as emergency medical services or nursing) is an advantage.
- Calm, quick decision-making in crowds.
- Women are encouraged to apply, to care for women worshippers.
Work environment
- Work at first-aid points and with medical carts inside the holy places.
- Shift work, including peak seasons.
